As suspected, President Trump (yep, he’s still my president) trounced the former governor of South Carolina in her home state last Saturday, and then he turned around and stomped her even worse in Michigan on Tuesday night.
Ever since the Iowa primary, it’s been clear to everyone except Nikki Haley that Donald Trump is going to be the Republican nominee. Even the Koch brothers were smart enough to stop funding Haley after she lost her home state by 20 points. Trump will close the deal on the nomination this coming Tuesday when Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont and Virginia all have their primaries.
